Job Description: At Parts Express, the Commercial Sales Representative, is the primary driver of our business to business sales effort through the acquisition and development of new and existing clients. The right person will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while providing insightful value-added audio, installation and OEM solutions to our clients. Proactively (via outbound calling) and reactively (via inbound call efforts), seek, recognize, and document business building opportunities and action plans. Follows up on leads generated from internal and external sources Informs customers of new product offerings, product enhancements and promotions. Processes orders, requests for quotes and customer service inquiries received via phone and email in an efficient and effective manner. Researches and recommends potential target industries and customers. Leverages highly effective written and verbal communication skills with customers, peers and leadership. Updates and uses the CRM effectively with all appropriate information. Closes new business by coordinating the customer requirements' developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with our business operations. Strives for continual professional development. Attends and represents Parts Express at relevant industry events and conferences. Performs related tasks as required Competencies: Must be bi-lingual with fluency in Spanish & English Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data Superior consultative skills with an expertise in building knowledge though investigative dialog. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking. Intellectual curiosity including the willingness understand the customer's business needs, developing solutions to customer pain points and influencing the customer's buying decision. Critical thinking and problem solving skills. Excellent decision-making skills Ethical Conduct Knowledge of Car audio and amplification products. Collaboration Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and filing cabinets. Physical Requirements Some standing, sitting for long periods of time and walking. Ability to lift 35 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential tasks. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Core hours of work of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; however, this position must be flexible and available for additional hours as work demands required, including evenings, occasional weekends, and special events. Education and Experience: BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Communication. Preferred but not required. 2-4 years of relevant experience in B2B sales with a proven track record of success at all stakeholder levels. (A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.)
