The Confectionery Sales division of Topps is seeking a Sr. Sales Analyst for our Bentonville Office focused on Club and Mass Channels. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a real contribution to the Topps Confectionery business by taking a proactive approach to scorecarding, data analysis, presentation development and project management. The ideal candidate for this role will be equally comfortable with data analysis and selling story creation as well as taking the lead in championing the execution of key projects in support of our customers. Reporting to the Sales Director of Mass & Club Channels, the individual will be supporting the iconic Baby Bottle Pop, Ring Pop, Push Pop, Juicy Drop, and Bazooka Bubble Gum brands known collectively as Bazooka Candy Brands (BCB). Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities Pro-active and comprehensive analysis of Retail Link (Walmart) and Madrid (Sams Club), syndicated, customer, and shipment data to identify and provide visibility of business opportunities and challenges impacting BCB, our customers, and our consumers. Provide Sales and Customer Marketing with direction and guidance for executing more effective and efficient promotional programs based on in depth consumer and customer analyses. Develop fact-based presentations to support Sales in achieving both distribution and merchandising objectives. Champion and manage key projects in support of Mass & Club channel customer initiatives. Work cross functionally to ensure the timely and quality execution of these important programs. Support seasonal business including store audits, tracking and assessing BCB and Category performance including growth drivers and competitive insights. Help to manage syndicated databases. Qualifications Experience 5- 7 years related experience in Sales and / or Marketing analysis Retail Link, Madrid, IRI and/or Nielsen experience is required. Demonstrated project management achievements. Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience is strongly preferred with an emphasis in confectionery and / or snacking categories. Experience analyzing promotional and retail initiatives with Walmart and Sams a must and the rest of the Club and Mass customers is strongly preferred. Skills/abilities Strong analytical skills ability to convert data into actionable, key insights and a selling story. Strong computer skills advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills essential. Proven ability and knowledge of Retail Link and Madrid to support Sales and Marketing initiatives. Proven ability to leverage syndicated data (IRI and/or Nielsen) to support Sales and Marketing initiatives. Ability to assemble, lead, and manage cross - functional teams to develop / implement key customer initiatives. Comfortable presenting to both internal (e.g., Marketing and Management) and external (e.g., assisting Sales managers in meetings with buyers) groups. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with colleagues across departments and with key customers. Excellent time management with ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Oracle platform a plus. Ecommerce content management and analysis are a plus. Education Bachelors degree required. Major in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field preferred.
