Responsibilities of the Business Development Associate: Follow up with warm leads by calling prospects that are generated by preexisting lead sources Understand the benefits of membership and sell key aspects to target audiences Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process Maintain and expand the companys database of prospects Where necessary, support marketing efforts Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email to effectively cross-sell and up-sell Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database Attend periodic sales trainings where applicable Attend occasional industry events, conferences, and meetings Requirements of the Business Development Associate: Previous sales experience and an interest in growing in a sales-based career Impressive communication and presentation skills, both over the phone and in-person Ability to converse with senior leaders at some of the largest global companies High-energy and a results-focused approach Adaptability; willingness to try new things and explore new tools Commercially focused mindset to understand our customers as well as the internal process Understanding of, and a willingness to learn about our industry and its role in the global economy Experience with customer relationship management software preferred, but not required ROCS Grad Staffing serves these cities and more: 11800 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 1400, Reston, Virginia 20191Rocs, Inc.
