* The successful candidate will live within 30 miles of Belleville, IL.

We are looking for our Direct Sales Representative to take ownership, embrace the challenge to find a way to make things easier, while delivering a consistently great customer experience!
As a Direct Sales Representative, your role is to drive accelerated post-construction sales activities within an assigned residential service territory. This position is required to conduct prospecting activities, including door-hangs, initial contact conversations, and signing up NEW customers in the assigned territory. The DSR will be required to become proficient in the company's products and services, including the ability to explain billing to a customer. You will also be required to enter clean orders into the company's sales platform daily.
What you will do:
Achieve a monthly sales quota for obtaining new customers in assigned territories by selling door to door in residential communities.
Outbound calling , emails , and in-person visits (75 doors per day) to prospects and existing customers to sell (42 per month) new services, recommend product upgrades, renewals or add-ons.
Distribute marketing materials and participate in activities that promote Clearwave Fiber Product and Services, i.e., trade fairs, city events, informational sessions, etc., during non-business hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) to cultivate personal sales leads.
Ensure effective use of marketing materials.
Seek out and create opportunities to increase penetration and generate revenue.
Engage assigned locations in existing and new programs offered by Clearwave Fiber. Identify potential marketing opportunities.
Become an expert in the competitive environment and communicate regarding competitive offerings while effectively positioning Clearwave Fiber as the best fiber optic broadband choice for assigned territory.
Provide support to customers that may include connecting with technical teams within Clearwave Fiber for troubleshooting, repair, and/or installation of existing and new services
Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure an effective operation of the department
*Upon successful completion of selling against the assigned territory, the DSR will be asked to cover a new construction service territory. This will require some level of travel and potential overnight hotel stays.
Requirements:
What you will have:
Sales experience is beneficial.
Relationship-building skills with internal and external customers are required for this position.
Must be highly self-motivated and self-disciplined and provide prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries.
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record (MVR).
Associates degree or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience.
Working knowledge of fiber optic broadband technology, processes, and billing systems is added advantage.
Ability to achieve goals and determine priorities.
Required to work varying hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Strong organizational skills and time management skills are imperative.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task effectively.
Proficient in computer usage with good typing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products i. e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Advancement opportunities - A DSR may have the opportunity to advance into a Territory Service Representative or Small Business Account Executive. To qualify for one of these positions, the DSR must be at 100% or higher against sales quota performance for a period of 6 consecutive months.
