Job Title: Functional Analyst - Sales
Department: ITS - SAP, 8526
Report To: Lead SAP Analyst - Sales


Summary

As a member of the SAP team, this person will work closely with the team, business liaisons, business analysts and other IT staff as needed for requirements gathering, understanding business priorities, and execute given tasks for the Sales SAP ECC module. This person should be able to work well with others and have a team-first attitude. This person will provide end user support, perform system configuration and coordinate testing activities in addition to following the established change management process. A successful candidate must be able to analyze and document a business process flow from beginning to end.



Description of Duties and Responsibilities

* Gather, analyze, and evaluate ideas from the business to improve or develop new functionality within the sales application.
* Ability to work with external partners and manage user requirements.
* Document and maintain the business processes using SAP best practices.
* Coordinate and participate in system integration, performance and acceptance testing.
* Work with the business to resolve defects, then define and communicate the proposed solution.
* Manage the move of approved application changes thru the system landscape.
* Provide day -to-day support and troubleshooting to the business community.
* Ensure all project, change and issue management processes are followed.
* Develop and manage projects of varying size and scope as required, within the designated timeline.
* Support Lead SAP Analyst on other assigned duties.




Qualifications and Experience Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related degree.
* At least one year's experience with the SAP SD module.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
* Process-oriented and independent thinker with initiative.
* Demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction.
* Creativity and the ability to work independently.
* Must possess excellent organizational and project management abilities, along with exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Must be able to effectively lead small groups.
* Must be willing to travel as needed.
