BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for achieving store sales goals by utilizing exceptional customer service and knowledge of La-Z-Boy products and services. Strives to build long-term customer relationships that will lead to increased sales and profitability. Lead the selling team to achieve sales objectives, store standards and other duties to run a world class operation.

As a Retail Sales Manager with La-Z-Boy, you'll be leading by example, which we believe the be the best way to lead. You'll be working with high quality, design savvy clients who appreciate quality and comfort while coaching and mentoring your team to success.

Just like owning your own business, you'll be responsible for achieving personal sales targets and inspiring your team to do the same. Don't worry, you won't be alone - you will have management support from your Store Manager and Interior Designer who will be with you every step of the way.

Assist the merchandising team to keep your store beautiful and up to date on pricing and promotions
Execute all tagging and sign programs
Ensure all associates accurately complete required paperwork, including order entry, delivery schedules, customer records, and deposit fees

Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years sales experience with a proved track record of success
Previous supervisory experience
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and experience in building dynamic teams
Goal oriented - Energetically focuses efforts on meeting goals, mission, or objective
Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs, to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
