What you'll do:
Exceed annual aftermarket parts & service revenue growth objectives, while maintaining gross margin, through aggressive business strategy combining in-person meetings, telemarketing strategies and e-commerce marketing initiatives
Establish and develop long term relationships with key personnel of National, large Regional and small Customers, assuring the aftermarket parts and service growth at each organization
In coordination with the Aftermarket Sales Manager implement annual aftermarkets parts & service pricing strategies focused on revenue growth and profitability with each of our customers within the Americas
Participate in the development of annual Business Plan Proposals with large Regional and National Customers
Develop excellent product and application knowledge of Milacron and competitive equipment
Effectively communicates and works cross-functionally with Field Sales, Service and Product Support teams
Utilization of Sales Force.com (CRM) including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecast projections, assuring we are completely prepared to effectively support customers demand and execute business growth objectives
Continually monitors market trends as it relates to current and new offerings, as well as new market opportunities within Americas
Responsibly maintain company owned assets which include vehicles, equipment and computers
Extensive Travel as required throughout your region, meeting with current and potential customers
Perform other tasks/duties as assigned
Gets to know competitors and their practices within the assigned region.
Determine customer satisfaction levels and work with internal resources factory to resolve problems or issues.
Actively participates in offered sales training and development programs to help them progress in their overall success and capabilities
Supports the monthly Goal Deployment process and participates by presenting the insights discovered through analytics and assembling those insights into an actionable result.
Routinely maintains the company's CRM / Sales Call Management System & Sales Reporting process.
Attends required/approved sales meetings, business meetings, and industry conventions.
Other ad-hoc analysis and special assignments as required.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or four to five years of experience in Business Administration or Marketing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years in an outside B2B field sales role, preferably within a technical or capital equipment sales industry. Experience in the plastic extrusion and/or injection-molding industry is a plus.
Knowledge of Database software; spreadsheet software such as Excel; Word, and PowerPoint. Salesforce or other CRM Platform experience a plus
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry including ability to read, measure, understand and use calipers, micrometer and/or other measurement tools with respect to physical attributes of components
