Overview of Position:



The role of the Sr. Financial Analyst, Sales is to operate as the Finance business partner to the Americas and Strategic Channel Sales organization.







Responsibilities:








Build close working relationships with defined internal customers to ensure a solid understanding of their sales strategy, planned channel initiatives and their needs for financial support

Deliver timely and accurate reporting of monthly KPIs and TTIs to the Channel Sales organization

Provide support to ensure timely and comprehensive completion of the Strategic Deployment Plan (SDP), which will include providing root-cause analysis and providing support to customers in identifying appropriate counter measures

Preparation of ad-hoc analysis / requests to provide the sales leaders with accurate and timely information to support commercially sound business decisions

Responsibility for driving the quota target setting by sales associate within the budget process and reporting Channel quota performance and objective performance monthly

Work closely with and support the Director, Global Sales Controlling & Marketing Finance on specific activities and projects as it relates to the Americas sales regions or Strategic Channel organization

Work closely with accounting to provide timely and accurate sales incentive accrual estimates











Education / Experience




Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics / Statistics

Advanced Excel Skills / Modeling

Experience with Financial Systems (Hyperion, BI, etc.)

Experience with visualization software / tools such as Tableau

Experience providing Finance support to senior leadership (Sales Leaders, Finance Leaders, GMs)

Ideally demonstrate previous experience of operating within a sales environment







Qualifications / Competencies




Strong quantitative analysis and data mining skills

Experience and strength in identifying insights from data and providing actionable commentary

Excellent communication skills to clearly present business issues, ideas, and recommendations

Keen sense of priorities and ability to multi-task
