The Trading group in Capital Markets is seeking highly motivated candidates who want to begin their career in an interest rate derivatives trading floor. This position provides you a unique opportunity to learn all aspects of trading interest rate derivatives. Given the small size of the trading group, you will be working on a wide-range of derivatives simultaneously, such as swaps, options, FX and credit products.

Responsibilities










This is a challenging role in which a motivated candidate will be able to contribute from Day 1. Some of the responsibilities of the role will include:
Assist traders in performing market analysis and analyze trading strategies.
Capital Markets has a significantly sized option book that the candidate will support in daily risk and Profit and Loss (PnL) reconciliation and create End of Day (EOD) reports for traders.
Monitor daily curve (rates, FX basis and tenor basis curves) and volatility (cap and swaption) calibration to ensure EOD books are marked correctly.
Run daily stress tests for the options desk and send out daily reports summarizing the results, along with market commentary.
Work with middle and back office groups to resolve any portfolio discrepancies, as well as making improvements to daily processes.













Qualifications










Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Economics / Math / Engineering, or a related area.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Internshipor work experience in Banking / Financial Services sector helpful
Familiar or knowledge of interest rate derivatives (swaps, options) a PLUS
Ability to think critically and analyze data
Eager to learn
Programming knowledge in Excel, Python, Visual Basic (VBA) a PLUS
