POSITION SUMMARY :

The Sales Trainer is responsible for modeling the 3 Company values of Compassion, Integrity, and Excellence, and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The Sales Trainer is responsible for sales training and professional development related to education strategy to achieve the company objective. S/he is responsible for applying the rules and regulations of state and federal regulatory agencies and other certified agencies.

Position-specific Responsibilities
Develops and participates in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of timely sales training sessions that provide instructions and ensures a well-educated sales organization.
Develops sales training materials using standard instructional design that enables learners to become knowledgeable and proficient.
Coordinates and plans onboarding for new colleagues in a sales role.
Prepares lesson plans containing objectives, course content, method of instruction and method of evaluation for each class scheduled and completed. Plans, schedules and posts monthly calendar of education programs in a timely manner.
Administers, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs in connection with new hire as well as continuing education requirements.
Maintains records of training activities and colleague progress and monitors effectiveness of programs.
Assists and coordinates with marketing and sales colleagues. Updates training material and curricula.
Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
Creates engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree and 2+ year's Healthcare or Hospice experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a facilitator or trainer. Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and software. Experience in curriculum development and/or instructional writing methodologies.



Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.



Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, colleagues, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications.



Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.



Computer Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrated presentation and training experiences to multiple audiences.
Must possess experience in sales training, preferably in a health care related field.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

A valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.
