Job Summary:
The Sr. Sales Representative will develop and lead an aggressive initiative to increase sales at existing accounts in addition to identifying potential new business in products, services, and markets to pursue within the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada (British Columbia and Alberta).
Job Responsibilities:
- Sales/Growth Initiatives: Develop strategies to expand on existing sales and gain entry to new markets of new business
- Planning: Identify key markets and customers. Determine short and long-term strategies to sustain ongoing business along with expected growth
- Commercial Excellence: Provide accurate and timely information for product forecasting and demand management program
- Portfolio Expertise: Learn DECCO Post Harvest product lines to further expand sales of existing business and new opportunities. Identify new products to add to the portfolio to increase sales
- Attain Annual Sales Budget Goals: Reach annual goals through sales to new customers and growth within existing pome customers
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilize a CRM full time as a sales tool for planning, tracking and reporting efforts toward annual sales goals
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Business Management, or related area or 15+ years’ proven experience in sales/key account management
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales
- Experience in building relationships, customer development, and relationship management
- Prior experience in giving business presentations
- Ability to obtain licensure in multiple areas for Pesticide application
- Proficiency in Microsoft Technologies including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
LOCATION: Central Washington state
TRAVEL: Up to 25% overnight travel required to visit and meet with customers and business stakeholders
Salary: $65,000 - $72,000
