Full description of the position

Title: Account Specialist

What You Will Do:

As an Account Specialist, you will work with customers to ensure a smooth process from enquiries, quotes, orders, shipping, delivery, and follow-up. You will demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism to both internal and external customers. You will develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to current customers.

Day to day activities:

· Creates, improves, and administers the relationship bonds with the new customers.

· Responds to internal and external customers, vendors, and branch inquiries about products, services, and the sales function; and settles unsolved customer matters.

· Sells company products or services in assigned area or territory (or customer)

· Cultivates and maintains favorable contact with key and major accounts of the organization.

· Sustains a record of high sales achievement.

· Reviews and evaluates documents to validate billing or sales history, identifies necessary billing adjustments, and completes paperwork to support these changes.

· Initiates telephone contact and maintains proper follow up with assigned customers, if necessary.

· Takes care of day-to-day activities servicing account holders, coordinating new and existing regional and/or national accounts with focus on client satisfaction, revenue optimization, and account growth.

· Interacts with clients on a regular basis, providing support, marketing ideas, product updates, and reporting.

· Assists Account Executives in maintaining and nurturing client relationships.

· Interacts with customers via phone and email to ensure their needs are met.

· Ensures issues are escalated to the proper party in a timely manner.

What You Need to Have:

· A reputation for taking initiative, setting goals, and getting things done

· The ability to efficiently manage and organize several projects at one time

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in person, on the phone or via written correspondence

· Self-motivated, self-directed, and a team player spirit

· Ethical conduct

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 2+ years inside sales experience (incoming call preferred)

· Experience with Global Shop Solutions a plus

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
