The Lead Parts Counter Sales Associate will have a hand in all aspects of the parts department including marketing and selling parts to successfully achieve financial targets. The position requires a friendly, professional disposition with the ability to interact with a broad base of customers.

Responsibilities

• Interact and sell parts to walk-in and call-in customers
• Shipping and Receiving parts orders
• Stocking shelves
• Lift items weighing up to 75lbs.
• Take ownership of merchandising and maintaining the show-room area
• Other responsibilities based on experience
• Operate forklift (will train)
• Assist in Parts inventory
• Maintain and develop product knowledge

Qualifications

• Some mechanical knowledge
• Several years of over-the-counter parts sales, preferably in the construction or agricultural equipment industries
• Experience with selling parts over phone and walk-in
• Coach and mentor other sales associates
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills
