Salary: $70K + generous commission plan
ROLE SUMMARY
We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our Sales team based in North Carolina. The Account Manager is responsible for selling Optos’ UWF suite of products in the designated territory, managing existing install base, prospecting new customers and driving revenue to annual quota targets. Ensure that new partners are effectively installed and trained on Optos best practices. Drive to create sustained growth and profitable renewals in partner base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage allocated install base to achieve/exceed revenue targets.
- Perform business reviews with partners on a regular basis.
- Develop long term relationships with territorial sites.
- Prospect, qualify and close new ophthalmology partners in-line with territory targets.
- Deliver effective sales presentations to prospective partners demonstrating clinical and business benefits.
- Territory analysis (both internal and external) to identify and qualify new and existing partners for the variety of different sales and renewal programs to achieve company goals.
- Regulatory documentation and reporting.
- Teach and train customer staff on patient imaging techniques; collaborate with Marketing and Training in the development of materials for educating customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience and proven track record of capital equipment sales, preferably in eye care (OD or MD).
- Knowledge of optometric/ophthalmic anatomy and pathology, clinical practices, flows and efficiencies.
- Demonstrate high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision making to achieve sales objectives.
- Experience in building pipeline structuring to develop new and existing business.
- Solid track record in increasing productivity, efficiencies, and strong customer relationships.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, analytical and business skills.
- Contract negotiating abilities and proven closing skills to bring on new sites.
- Self-motivated; proven ability to work both independently as well as in teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation/training delivery skills.
