Position Summary
Our Account Specialists are trusted strategic partners to companies all over the country. This is your chance to align with our customers to meet their needs, adding value as a trusted advisor. You will manage a group of existing accounts to build strong, long-term relationships with key contacts. You’ll be empowered to manage and grow existing accounts by bringing new services, expanding on existing services offered, adding value, and maximizing profitability through successful accounts management.
The Sales Account Specialist is responsible for generating sales including our different lines of equipment, along with selling consumables, accessories, supplies, software and services. Responsibilities include actively prospecting and converting leads into customers, establishing, and maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company, and maximizing sales potential with existing customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect and contact new leads to convert them into customers, develop new business, target key prospects, and retain business
- Manage, nurture, and grow assigned accounts by prospecting and developing opportunities
- Engage in problem solving by performing account analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels
- Introduce and sell our equipment, consumables, accessories, supplies, software and services.
- Manage daily incoming leads, provide product education, pitch product advantages, provide financing opportunities to the customers, close the deal and maintain sales relationships for ongoing recurrent business
- Prepare quotes and follow up with administrative responsibilities, including submitting sales orders, following up with shipments to the destination, and customer satisfaction
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets, quarterly, and annual targets
- Collaborate with team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
- Deliver sales presentations along with product and service demonstrations when needed
- Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows, exhibits, and other events
- Follow up Sales and Marketing guidance while using promotions, discounts, and special pricing to generate additional business
- Provide the right guidance to customers while proposing financing opportunities
- Perform product education and product demonstrations to customers
- Daily educational training set by management
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of outside or inside sales experience.
- Must be able to travel and attend overnight sales events when needed.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough, and determined.
- Ability to build influential relationships and deliver results.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience using CRM systems & Dashboards (e.g., [please apply online] is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance
- In office roll with up to 25% of required travel
