Hall’s Culligan of Ventura is hiring an experienced, dedicated Commercial/Industrial Sales Professional to join our team.

The Commercial/Industrial Sales Professional works to partner with organizations throughout the Ventura area to determine the best water solutions to fit their business. Our ideal candidate will possess a background in manufacturing or commercial sales, construction, plumbing or similar background.

The Commercial/Industrial Sales Professional will be skilled at presenting and interacting with decision makers and executives. Building relationships will be the key to success. The Commercial/Industrial Sales Professional will grow their book of business through warm leads, referrals and by prospecting potential customers. Our customers are in every industry including factories, schools, hospitals, hotels, and restaurants. There is unlimited potential to gain new customers in the region!

The base salary for this position is $30,000 annually with added, earned commissions with no cap. There is also training pay provided for the first 90 days.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow the existing customer base by prospecting local businesses and new construction projects; following up on all sales leads
  • Establish relationships with local engineers, contractors, construction managers and business owners/operators
  • Bidding on projects/creating RFP’s and ensuring we stay within proposal deadlines
  • Working with customers to increase the life span and be cost effective with equipment

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience in an industrial or business to business setting
  • Familiarity with water treatment is preferred but not required
  • Must be a self-starter with initiative, intuition and familiar with consultative selling skills
  • Prior experience in business to business cold calling required
  • Computer skills on most Microsoft Office applications are required
  • Must be able to produce self-generated sales each month and be well organized
  • A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently or as a team and a burning desire to succeed
  • Strong business knowledge, professional presentation skills, and excellent problem solving abilities. The commission-focused sales professional generally is the most successful.
