About This Role
The Customer Service and Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for providing support to our external sales teams as well as to our internal Aftermarket sales team as well. This role will have a direct impact on sales as the support provided will enable our teams to provide the highest level of service to our customers. This role will interact directly with sales teams, our distributors and our internal Customer support teams. The role will be involved in sales marketing initiatives, developing and distributing reports, provide support for our E-Commerce website and Digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the Aftermarket and Sales Teams, develop and analyze reports that will provide a sound foundation for long- and short-term strategic planning. This includes tracking customer order types and translating system data into actionable sales opportunities
Participate in sales/aftermarket activities which include market specific report outs, channel partner meetings (virtual and face-to-face), etc.
Enable our strategic digital and E-commerce business which includes website updates/management, invoicing/tracking/managing connectivity subscription sales, and virtual and face-training sessions
Develop marketing initiatives to drive our strategic sales goals
Maintain and manage channel partner orders, inquiries, and contract information
Finalizing and sending out Bulletins for the org
Assist in tracking/verifying empty cylinder and agent buy
IntelliSite subscription billing, new user set-up, distributor inquiries, etc. I see this person as also being able to answer basic questions about IntelliSite and have a good understanding of what it does.
Maintaining/updating customer e-mail distribution list (and expanding if needed – service managers, part managers, general manager, that type of thing)
Assisting with presentations
Sending out a Welcome Package to new distributors (they would also help us develop the package)
Support E-Commerce updates/inquiries/new user set-up, run reports as needed
Help manage admin side of distributor agreements
Help organize departmental meetings/space/needs
JDE report/system support where needed
Assist in research/product sales history to identify sales opportunities
Help develop and maintain Distributor Playbook. Customize for distributors if needed.
Support training team/invoicing/reporting/etc.
Assist Customer Service/Tech-Support Managers in managing/tracking/reporting as needed
Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree
1+ years of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in sales/aftermarket customer support
BA/BS Degree
Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
Experience producing and managing reports while identifying trends and areas of opportunity
Marketing/sales experience a plus
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities
Some type of Business Management System experience (or capability)
Experience in a customer service industry big plus
Great communication skills, upbeat
Good organizational skills
Can do anything attitude
