About this role
The Upfit/Retrofit Aftermarket Sales Specialist will work with our Sales and Aftermarket organization to identify upfit/retrofit growth opportunities from our existing install base. This role will work closely with our Sales Team to identify/capture retrofit product sales and develop and execute strategic short- and long-term sales goals.
This position reports to the Director of Service and Aftermarket and collaborates with the full spectrum of customer service and sales leaders, including product management, operations, finance, engineering, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute an Upfit/Retrofit Sales Strategy based on existing install base.
Work closely with our Sales team to identify and capture retrofit opportunities.
Work closely with the sales, tech support, customer service, finance, and other departments to identify and develop successful upfit and retrofit sales strategies that result in short- and long-term sales growth.
Collaborate with our distributor customer base to develop successful sales programs for retrofit and upfit opportunities. This includes travel to distributor/end customer locations and being able to effectively communicate with cross-functional groups.
Work closely with the internal and external Aftermarket team members across Industrial Fire and Security to develop long term sales strategies for product life cycle sales that include retrofit and upfit opportunities.
Travel required: 50%
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
1+ years of experience in engineering or business
1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience with inside/outside technical sales in an industrial industry
1+ years of experience in the fire suppression industry
Fire Protection Engineering or Fire Silence degree/certification
Customer-facing sales or sales support role experience in a technical industrial industry
Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail while managing multiple priorities
