Wildlife Sales Representative Location: Shrewsbury, MA 01545
Position Purpose: People call the Big Blue Bug all day long asking us for HELP! #GreatBrand Our Sales Representative perform free inspections and make recommendations for wildlife management solutions. We are growing! #JoinBlueTeam
Classification: Regular / Full Time
Experience: 1+ years sales in a service industry, WILDLIFE experience a must
Education: High school diploma (or GED) required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Credentials: Valid driver's license with record that meets insurance company requirements; have or obtain state-required licenses
Schedule: Generally Monday thru Friday, with some Saturdays
Compensation: Sales commissions, bonuses

TASKS:
- Conduct inspections for wildlife, pests, pest harborages, pest entryways and conducive conditions
- Provide consistent, friendly, and high quality service to clients and prospective clients
- Determine, recommend and provide proposals for wildlife management services per government and company guidelines
- Inform customers on how to reduce pest pressures through proper sanitation, storage and landscaping
- Proper use of iPad to explain and propose services.
- Operate and maintain service vehicle, and other inspection equipment, per government and company guidelines
- Ensure inspection equipment, proposals and supporting materials are on service vehicle to perform scheduled inspections
- Document inspection activities as required and submit paperwork, electronic submissions (iPad) as directed
- Propose additional company services to customers as appropriate
- Participate in activities that help generate more business (e.g. Trade Shows, Referral Organizations, Self-Generating business activities)
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed
SKILLS:
- Salesmanship!
- Read, write, and speak English (bi-lingual is an advantage!)
- Basic math skills required. averages, ratios, and proportions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees are regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; climb; and talk and hear. Employees must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employees are required to regularly drive a company vehicle between client sites and will be required to maintain a driver’s license and acquire and maintain state pesticide licenses.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a variety of client settings that will include exposure to seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions and hot conditions with temperatures over 120 degrees. Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
