Community Liaison for Medicare Home Health Agency

United Nursing Services has provided exceptional, client-oriented home healthcare services in the Palm Beach area since 1986. Locally owned and operated, United Nursing Services is a dual-licensed Florida Licensed and Medicare-certified home health agency. We seek an energetic, enthusiastic people person to join our team as a Community Liaison. You are more than an employee at United Nursing Services; you are a valuable and essential member of our team contributing to the best care for our patients and the success and growth of UNS.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between referral sources and our agency to facilitate home health services including home health aides, certified nursing assistants, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, massage therapists, and medical social workers.
• Develop relationships with various resources, including physician offices, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and outpatient facilities.
• Make cold calls, develop leads, introduce potential lead sources to United Nursing Services, promote and grow the agency through communicating the value of our services and always presenting a positive image in the community.
• Always be an information resource for referral sources.
• Facilitate necessary documentation between ordering practitioners and UNS.
• Stay organized and focused, do not allow leads to slip away!

Requirements

• College preferred
• Home health and medical sales experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Fluent in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
