SALES ASSOCIATE

Job Description

Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven counter salesperson to be responsible for the sales process from greeting customers as they enter our shop to the execution of the order. Your responsibilities include answering questions related to equipment and parts, reviewing options by using our software and manufacturer websites, receiving payment, and executing the order. In addition, keeping our pricing updated, processing financing options, and keeping our website marketing in-season, are key skills for this position.

Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities:

• Greeting walk-in customers and answering customer phone calls.
• Talking with customers to help match their needs with our leading-brand landscape and farm parts and equipment.
• Leading the full sales cycle from quote through final sale.
• Responsible for full understanding of market seasonality - selling and marketing inventory by assuring showroom is displaying in-season equipment, posting weekly website and Facebook messaging with season-applicable equipment, and discussing upcoming seasonal needs in customer conversations.

Education and Qualifications:

• College degree required.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, extroverted, personality.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in computers, i.e., Microsoft Office, social media and website posting.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, quotes and financing discussions.
