As a Business Development Specialist, you will monitor and follow up on Customer inquiries by phone & internet, providing outstanding customer service, organization and follow through.

Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Department/Division/Location: Sales/Dodge/Fitchburg
Reports To: Sales Manager
Employment Status: Full Time
Work Hours: Tuesday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. & Saturdays between 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., overtime and some holiday hours required
Position Summary: Monitors and follows up on customer inquiries via the internet and phone by providing outstanding customer service, organization and follow through and maintains internet pricing.
Essential Functions:
- Communicates effectively with internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication (phone, email or text), taking 60-80 inquiries daily
- Manages Internet sales leads, responding to inquiries timely answering questions about purchasing vehicles, trades etc., recommending, selecting or helping locate and/or obtain merchandise based on customer requirements
- Schedules appointments with interested buyers for test drives
- Communicates sales terms with customers and reviews with dealership management
- Maintains current knowledge of the business, technology, terminology, products/features, accessories, current sales, policies, safety, security practices and competition
- Ensures customers understand all vehicle operating features, warranties and paperwork
- Manages and analyzes action plans consistent with standards of productivity to consistently meet required, pre-defined performance and satisfaction goals and metrics

Additionally, Ron Bouchard may ask that employees conduct a review of their position as part of the performance evaluation process.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED (preferred)
- Requires strong communication skills in order to work most effectively with customers
- Previous customer service experience highly desired
- Call center and/or Internet sales experience a plus
- Sales experience is a plus, NOT required
- Reliable means of transportation to get to work
Skills:
- Effective communication skills, written, verbal and active listening
- Proficient with use of computer, email, web searching
- Excellent organization, time management and customer service skills
- Bilingual a plus
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
Works primarily in a typical, climate- controlled office environment.
