The SkiSales Associate is a fun and rewarding role at Ski Haus. As a Ski Sales Associate, you are a dynamic individual who appreciates the importance of high-quality and properly selected equipment and clothing for both recreational and competitive skiers of all ages and abilities. We are looking to hire an applicant who is both knowledgeable and passionate about our culture and Skiing/Snowboarding. This person should have a solid understanding of the gear (skis, boots, bindings, accessories) along with knowing and/or learning the art of boot fitting and ski sales. Customer Service is our mission, along with educating the customer about the best equipment for them. Here, you'll help cultivate an environment that is exciting, interactive and fun for both customers and employees! This is an amazing opportunity for that individual who loves winter.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that every customer receives outstanding service by answering any pertinent questions and/or having the tools to find the answers.
• Take initiative to remain familiar with the merchandise carried in the store, including key features and benefits, as well as, ability to make accurate suggestions to customers.
• Work independently and closely with co-workers to consistently deliver the highest level of customer service, so they can have an outstanding experience skiing across New England and beyond!
• Stock product regularly.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Inspired by the spirit of the mountains, naturally enjoys and is passionate about winter and the mountain lifestyle!
• Strong technical knowledge of equipment, accessories, and clothing or eager willingness to learn.
• Experience selling ski/snowboard equipment, fitting ski boots, and custom boot work (preferred).
• Previous luxury fashion or outdoor retail sales experience (preferred).
• The minimum expectation would be 18 hrs/week with at least one-weekend shift.
• Must be able to safely lift/carry/drag 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for a full shift, up to 7+ hours.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule which would include evenings, weekends and holidays.
