Job Description:
Senior Account Strategists work in a sales role, helping to maintain or extend existing accounts (customers) and develop new accounts.
This is a senior position that primarily focuses on revenue growth, adhering to standards of excellence, individual selling, the closing of self-generated leads and the closing of warm company-generated leads.
This role is responsible for prospecting, forecasting, reporting, booking and account management, and solidifying agreements with prospective customers. This includes placing cold calls, sending out emails, text messaging and following up on inquires. You will establish and foster relationships across many channels to ensure the growth of our client base.
Sales are the lifeblood of every business and the Senior Account Strategist will be solely responsible for creating new business and growing their continual book of business. As an integral part of the Sales team, this role will be responsible for educating prospects about the value of Mr. Pipeline products and making recommendations on how they can best be leveraged to achieve specific client goals and objectives. In addition to trying to find new clients, Senior Account Strategists also need to maintain their current client list by keeping in regular contact with them and making sure they are pleased with the advertising service.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed strategies and goals to facilitate the attainment of quotas
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Discover new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships
- Present products and services to prospective clients
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients to understand their needs
- Resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputation
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Representative, or in other sales/customer service roles
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
- Outstanding computer skills and knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Excellent written communication and grammar skills are required
- Organizational and time-management skills
- A professional business acumen
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- BS or BA in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing is preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
