Full description of the position

Wallbeds "n' More, a Unique, Fun and Rapidly Growing space-saving furniture company, is looking for a customer focused, driven, and entrepreneurially minded person to help continue to grow our local showroom.

A good candidate for this role loves helping people and being rewarded for assisting our customers find the perfect fit for their homes. This position prioritizes developing relationships with our customer, clients, vendors, and community partners.

Who are we? Wallbeds n More is a Wallbed/Murphy bed company based out of California. We have three Wallbed showrooms in the Bay Area (San Francisco, Burlingame, and San Mateo) where we provide our clients with an opportunity to view, try out and design some of the highest quality space saving furniture available today. Wallbeds “n” More has been in business for over 19 years and have seen a rapid growth in the Murphy bed and Wallbed market over the last two years leading to a desire to expand and serve more customers in new areas.

This position will work closely with the leadership team and is responsible for the sales, operations, and marketing for their showroom. The Showroom Sales Coordinator is responsible for setting their own targets, creating a plan of action with the leadership team, and executing their plan to grow and maintain their client base.

Compensation is a Base Pay plus Commission/Bonus structure with no cap

Realistic middle performer monthly comp: $8,480

Realistic high performer monthly comp: $10,520

Responsibilities:

Sales - In Store and Online

  • Make sure customer experience is desirable, online, and offline
  • Engage with Clients in person, over the phone, and Via email
  • Embody consultative sales process
  • Utilize CRM to stay in contact and close sales
  • Process and submit customer orders post sale
  • Provide ongoing assistance after the sale as needed
  • Helping clients with in-home, remote, and in-showroom consultations for home and room design
  • Work hand in hand with the Customer Experience and Logistics departments to make sure customer expectations are met on delivery
  • Being flexible and hands on in the customer experience

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in retail management preferred
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in sales and/or combined customer service in big-ticket sales
  • A passion for helping people and truly caring about the customer experience
  • Proven experience or education in residential and/or commercial design is a plus
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word, Email, and ability to learn new programs of similar complexity)
  • Detail oriented personality, with strong abilities to multitask and think outside the box
  • Experience with social media or blogs is a plus
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work weekend hours required
  • Available and comfortable with visiting a customer’s home to measure their space or provide design suggestions and close a sale

This role is based out of both our Burlingame and San Mateo showrooms, requiring movement between the two locations on occasion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $35.00 per hour
