POSITION SUMMARY
The Change Management Specialist will play a key role working with project teams and portfolios to integrate change management activities into their project plans and support execution of the change management tasks. This position will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, how technology is used to achieve business results, and maximizing employee performance. This position will work closely with the Training and Communications departments to ensure management and employees can support new and different ways of working. The Change Management Specialist will work to drive faster adoption, higher utilization and greater proficiency of the changes to ensure a positive end-user experience and adoption of the change.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
80%: Execution of Change Management Tasks for Projects
- Design and execute Change Management deliverables for complex technical projects spanning multiple portfolios
- Effectively manage Change Management tasks and ensure they are coordinated with the overall project plans
- Collaborate with members of project teams to create and execute Training and Communication plans and deliverables to increase change adoption
- Perform change impact assessments and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner
- Identify training needs, and partner with the training team to create Training Approaches
- Create Test & Learn training materials and deliver Test & Learn training
- Collect, organize, evaluate and disseminate feedback from Test & Learns & training. Make recommendations to Governance Groups and incorporate changes into future rollout plans
- Work with training team to create pilot & full rollout plans and materials
- Review training deliverables for quality and effectiveness
- Assess, manage, resolve and escalate risks and issues
- Measure effectiveness of change management deliverables to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned
15%: Support Project Managers
- Build effective, quality, productive partnership with project managers to integrate and support transition management tasks in project work plans
- Meet on a regular cadence to review change management deliverables, and create awareness of other potentially competing projects
- Gather feedback from project managers on on how change management can support projects to ensure success
- Work with project managers to coordinate store participation for Test and Learns, pilots, and User Acceptance Testing
- Ensure projects test & learns, pilots, and full rollouts are approved by the Change Management Steering Committee, using the standard process
5%: Communicating Project Status, Risk and Issues
- Raise, track and report issues related to people, usability and adoption
- Provide project updates and status reports on a consistent basis to to Stakeholders
- Maintain Project Tracker and project participation spreadsheets
CHANGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required;
- 3+ years experience creating change management deliverables for successful program adoption;
- 2+ years experience creating training and communication deliverables;
- 2+ years project management;
- Experience with Prosci ADKAR Model preferred
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools;
- Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, tools and best practices that are specific to the planning and implementation of change management deliverables;
- Ability to establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships; ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
