Overview:

The Estimator/Salesperson will estimate multiple commercial projects throughout the United States (all done from Washington HQ), write detailed scopes of work, and gain approval for work that supports the gross margin targets of the organization. Job estimates can range from $5k to over 100k plus dollars.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to be self-managed. A typical work week is Mon - Friday with some weekends.

Job Title: Salesperson/Estimator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Accurately measuring and quoting projects

· Develop materials lists

· Scheduling and executing multiple projects simultaneously

· Understand budgeting, gross margins, and profits associated with new sales

· Executing good communication and customer service skills

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or related field…or
• 3 years of verifiable field experience with project estimating or design-build work with working knowledge of construction, installation, and irrigation…or
• 5 years of verifiable field experience working successfully in outside sales

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

• As required by state and federal law
• A valid driver license issued by the state where employed
• LEED-certified preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong customer service skills, with internal and external clients
• Effective oral and written communication
• Organizational skills: ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well under deadlines
• Ability to work with commercial property managers, vendors, and consultants
• Flexibility
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience using design software, such as AutoCAD and LandscapeArchitect is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
