Role:
This is a business development role with a strong element of Account management, development, and growth. The core focus of the role is to identify and recruit local MEA advertisers, upsell with existing advertisers to Optimise MEA; develop strong relationships with advertisers to deliver profitable sales growth in MEA.The role requires someone with excellent relationship-building and communication skills, coupled with initiative and drive to achieve sales-driven results.The job is at a mid-level within the business that predominantly requires excellent business development, client management, and commercial experience and skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for acquiring new advertisers and upselling with existing advertisers in MEA (and possibly Turkey) and driving profitable sales growth for our existing advertisers.The successful candidate will also be required to collaborate and work effectively with the Client Services and Delivery teams based in Delhi.
Business development responsibilities
- New advertisers and agencies tie-ups in MEA
- Increase revenue from existing clients by upselling to CPI or CPV from the network in MEA.
- Develop strong, strategic, and commercial relationships with the top advertisers while nurturing developing new and emerging advertisers in other countries of the GCC.
- Identify commercial opportunities & contribute to profitable sales growth.
- Exceed targets and meet all deadlines, delivering high-quality output always.
- Calculate accurate sales revenue forecasts for the weekly business development report.
- Prioritize time & focus based on commercial priorities and account importance.
Leadership responsibilities:
- Support the Client Services Team to deliver commercial growth from relevant advertisers.
- Support the Client Services team by providing detailed commercial proposals in response to requests from Advertisers.
- Demonstrate industry & competitor knowledge providing insight to the Client Service Team
- Accountable for collaborative working with Client Service and Delivery teams.
- Identify increases or downturns in performance on GCC campaigns and provide insight into these.
- Build a professional profile within the industry in MEA, demonstrating expertise in performance advertising.
- Acquire expertise and advanced knowledge of Optimises products and services.
Personal attributes:
- Experience in a similar account management or sales role
- Good grasp of figures and financials and experience in working to targets and deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of digital marketing and how to deliver results online.
- Hands-on experience with digital channels and working to perform advertising metrics such as CPM, CPC, CPL, CPI, CPCV, CPA, CPO, and CPS
- Commercial aptitude, with the ability and motivation to drive profitable sales growth.
- Ability to influence and negotiate and acquire new business.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to be flexible and manage conflicting priorities.
- Self-starter, able to work under their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Must have a professional approach both internally and externally
Should be a strong communicator who can pitch at an appropriate level for the audience.
- Min 1-2 years’ experience in affiliate marketing
- The candidate must be willing to potentially travel overseas for client meetings.
- Fluent in Arabic and English compulsory
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $400.00 - $500.00 per month
