Full Time Role: Alex Power Equipment - Alexandria, MN

Job Summary

Sales Representative is responsible for selling equipment. Cultivates and develops customer relationships in person at location / on showroom floor. Primarily on mowers, handhelds, and subcompact equipment. Responsible for retention and satisfaction of customers. Meets, and aims to exceed, sales goals established by sales management. Aids in market share growth for location. Educates customers on how equipment, products, and services can benefit their end goal. Has extensive product knowledge and stays up to date on changes and trends in the industry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Promotes an atmosphere of goodwill and accountability between the company and the customer.

Acts in professional manner and provides a superior level of customer service and satisfaction.

• Present, promote, demonstrates, and sells equipment in a dealership setting.
• Quotes customer equipment and evaluates trade-in equipment within established company guidelines.
• Maintain existing customers and accounts while developing new customers and accounts.
• Keeps up to date on multiple product lines and manufacture programs.
• Understands and keeps up to date on industry trends to maximize sale opportunity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by sales manager

Skills Required

• Effectively communicates with customers, co-workers, ownership.
• Self-motivated and driven to at a minimum meet established goal – always aiming to exceed.
• Minimum of three years selling equipment.
• Construction equipment knowledge is a bonus.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve and resolve conflict.
• Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to travel as needed.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a business / store / shop environment. Exposure to equipment repair environment.
Company workloads require work after hours or and weekends. Must have ability to drive company owned vehicles and travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
