An Employment Sales Specialist must be comfortable with business-to-business sales, in effort to advocate for your client to get them hired in appropriate positions for them. Responsibilities:

• Assist people with disabilities in job skill development and job placement
• Sales - advocating for and doing the foot and groundwork for clients to get hired as soon as possible in a suitable job
• Develop effective job coaching and employment plans specifically tailored to each individual client
• Assist clients to discover and overcome personal barriers and set goals
• Cold call and visit various employers to determine if they are hiring, as so to get clients interviewed and/or hired
• Build and maintain healthy relationships with employers
• Assist in creating resumes, job search and application processes and interview preparation and support
• Local travel within assigned territory in your own, personal vehicle (gas mileage reimbursement)
• Provide on-the-job support, coaching and assistance for clients
• Advise on workplace accommodations for people with disabilities
• Must have basic computer skills, administrative skills and excellent time management skills
• Complete necessary documentation and paperwork for each client as needed and on a daily, weeky and monthly basis
• Communicate and act as liaison between client and ARS Counselor
• Teachable and open to learning and following processes
• Ability to adhere to regulations and standards

Requirements:

• Previous sales and/or marketing experience preferred
• Experience working within the community, preferably in a sales role
• Strong desire to determine bonuses (on top of base salary) based on productivity of getting clients hired
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Great time-management skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities
• Extroverted personality
• Respect to diversity
• Ability to inspire and motivate
• Ability to adhere to regulations and standards
• High school diploma
• Experience in working with people with disabilities is a plus
• Must be able to pass background check and maintain clean history
• Must be willing to travel within the Lafayette, LA area for 60% of your work week. Personal vehicle is required.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
