Pinpoint Laser Systems has an immediate opening for a detail-oriented Sales Engineer with strong, hands on, mechanical skills and a technically oriented background. We are looking for a candidate who will help strengthen our sales team and take a lead on industrial customer sales projects while applying superior technical skills in a dynamic team environment.

Our team is based in a newly renovated facility with comfortable, open working spaces, engineering areas, manufacturing floor, alignment labs, machine shop and comfortable cafeteria. We share many ideas and support team collaboration on many customer, new product, and marketing projects.

The Position

The ideal candidate should have solid B2B experience with mechanical equipment and assemblies, manufacturing systems and mechanical design along with the desire to work with customers in a sales engineering roll. Computer experience in CRM, Word,
Excel and SolidWorks, basic machine shop skills for prototyping demonstrations and customer parts is, highly, desirable.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in a growing manufacturing operation
• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
• Comfortable with customers and developing alignment/measuring solutions

• Ability to understand and resolve engineering problems
• Innovative & creative participation with sales and manufacturing teams
• Interest in working with industrial customers on solutions and designs
• Light machining – ability to use lathe, milling machine & 3D printer for sales prototypes
• Experience with electronics and optics a plus.
• Comfortable in industrial and factory environments
• Creative prototype design and assembly

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
