Job Overview

Computers Nationwide is a leading IT services and Technology company in the Chicago area, with offices in Vernon Hills, IL and Janesville, Wi. We are hiring an IT Sales Engineer to join our team in the Vernon Hills location. If you have prior experience as an IT Sales Engineering delivering solutions to IT customers, we have the position for you!

Responsibilities:

• Design products or services in the Information Technology industry that would be beneficial to our clients’ businesses
• Work with Engineers and sales staff to help propose new solutions to customers
• Plan detailed presentations that show product info, pricing, and benefits
• Help design technology solutions for clients
• Work closely with Account Managers and Business Development Professionals in presenting and selling solutions
• Manage or assist in the development of product requirements, product sourcing and proposal development
• Meet with clients at appointments for sales presentations
• Stay knowledgeable on updates in technology and how new products and services can benefit customers
• Help the sales team acquire new customers

Qualifications for Sales Engineer

• Ability to Design custom technology solutions for clients
• 5 years of equivalent job experience a must
• Knowledge of switching, Firewalls, Servers, and more technology solutions
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations for discovery and sales presentations
• Creativity to approach sales and help build customer relationships
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
