Day: 8 hours Job Description
Basic Purpose
Position has two major areas of responsibility: paying provider claims and tracking visits/benefit levels. The second area is contract renewal and coordination.
Job Functions:
- Manage provider claims paying; updating procedures including documentation guidelines, assign vendor ID, and pay claims in a timely manner.
- Train and assist providers to use the provider portal to open and close cases and submit claims.
- Respond to questions from providers regarding claims that have not been paid, investigate and document.
- Proficient in the use of the case management system, run both standard and custom reports.
- Support sales team and account executives to set up new customer and renewal contracts with headcount, location, eligibility, specialty services, billing rates and reporting frequency. Update in CRM.
- Bill customers and work with accounting on accounts receivable.
- Update broker commission agreements, calculate commission and initiate payment.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalency is required AA or BA degree preferred.
- Position requires excellent attention to detail, especially regarding payments, rates and calculations.
- Must have ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and problem solve with operations, sales or account executive teams.
- Skilled in generating standard or custom reports and answering questions from providers or employer groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Salary Range:
