Sales Manager

Dan Dee International, and its subsidiary Animal Adventure, produce a wide range of products for the North American and International marketplace. We are market leaders in Plush Toys, Children’s Furnishings and Home Décor.

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will help to drive the company's sales and profitability goals by actively helping to manage all selling and sales support activities associated with designated buying areas. Our sales manager’s goal is to provide build strong working relationships with designated buyers and assistant buyers by providing best in class customer service, which is based upon a strong working knowledge and understanding of all sales related activities for designated product categories. This position will be responsible for executing our sales plan, actively identifying sales opportunities, leading customer meetings, sales planning, sales reporting, market reviews and assist in customer order tracking and follow-through.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Help to develop and update detailed yearly sales forecasts and plans

· Build a strong, working relationship with designated buyers and assistant buyers

· Identify and document market sales trends and opportunities for both existing and
potential customers

· Analyze sales trends and opportunities to both internal and external customers

· Manage customer deliverables, using a Time and Action calendar, to ensure on-time
execution based upon customer expectations.

· Manage all aspects tracking and delivery of sales samples

· Report and provide constructive feedback to assigned customers on product and
vendor performance.

· Partner with Management team to align cross-functional objectives and best practices

· Develop and maintain cross-divisional relationships across multiple levels of management

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree

· 3+ years of retail or manufacturing sales experience

· Proven ability to drive sales growth in a highly competitive environment

· Attention to detail, ability to manage high volumes of data

· Self-motivated with ability to prioritize multiple deadlines, flexible under changing
priorities

· Effective professional communication skills both verbal and written

· Proficient across Microsoft Office Programs

· Ability to travel (less than 20%)

Preferred Qualifications:

· Strong business acumen, project management, leadership, analytical and strategic skills

· Expert Excel and analytical skills

· Ability to communicate, interact and present to diverse cross-functional audiences

· Willing and able to learn/adapt quickly to new information, processes, and inputs

· Handles ambiguity well

· Result-focused, highly driven to improve performance & excellence
