Full description of the position

As a Product Sales Specialist at Outdoor Options, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our customer’s lives by guiding them to the proper storage product to meet their needs. We are looking for energetic, customer-focused Product Specialist who will help us redefine the shed-buying experience. We are FAR from the typical shed store. Outdoor Options is the leader in industry and is constantly growing. Our team members like to have fun and enjoy selling storage products! Responsibilities and Qualifications:

The Product Sales Specialist primary role (We call it our Queen Bee role) is to guide customers through the sales process who inquire about a shed, carport, greenhouse or gazebo, etc. We have a large amount of walk in traffic and lots of phone calls. If that isn’t enough of new leads, we have a marketing company that can get us new qualified leads at any time you feel like you need more!

The Product Sales Specialist works with customers who visit the store directly taking them through the initial buying process through to the final sale. If the customer doesn’t purchase on the first contact, you will continue reaching out to them per our procedures through using our CRM program. We have an awesome CRM program that will allow you to easily keep up with your customers. We also have programs that price our products and will send a 3d image with the quote to customers with pricing.

Some of the duties include but are not limited to:

  • Contacting and communicating with customers to identify needs
  • Explaining payment plan options to customers - We have numerous payment plan companies that we work with so customers do not need credit, job history, or anything crazy to be approved!
  • Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish a customer network - We call it “Filling the Funnel”. It works if you work it!
  • Answer leads within required time and get them product information
  • Answer sales phone calls and set appointments for customers
  • Make outbound phone calls to follow up with customers
  • Show products to customers and explain the Features, Advantages, and Benefits
  • Work with customer from start to finish throughout the buying process
  • The Product Specialist finalizes the purchase and the Sales Assistants take it from there to schedule delivery and ensure we have proper paperwork.

A Few Simple Requirements:

  • Must have motivation to be successful because we like to be #1!
  • Exhibit great customer service skills
  • Must be able to create and maintain customer relationships
  • Strong phone skills
  • Prior sales, customer service, call center, or business experience is preferred. But if you are simply awesome without experience, apply and prove it!
  • Maintain professional business attire and appearance
  • Self-motivated and a team player - Being a team player is a must!
  • Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age

Hours:

We begin our weekdays at 8:30 am with a team meeting / Continuing Education. At 9am, the meeting is over, the office is open and the phones are ringing! We close at 5pm. On Saturdays, our office hours are 10am-2pm. There is no meeting on Saturday. On Sunday, we are closed!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
