Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Sales Manager will be to prospect, build lasting relationships, respond to requests, and provide quotes to customers. The Sale Manager will have high involvement in customer relations, distribution, new product identification and development. This person will need to have a direct aggressive sales/marketing program to achieve budgeted sales volume at maximum profit with minimum expense.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop strong product knowledge of MPI products and capabilities
2. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to create an exceptional experience for the customer
3. Evaluate and implement special projects as needed to increase MPI revenue
4. Initiate frequent customer contact to develop and expand customer accounts
5. Develop a base of customers for future sales
6. Maintain a database of clients through CRM system (HubSpot)
7. Proactively networks for new customer contacts with intentions of building long-lasting relationships
8. Collects, analyses and reports to the President competitive information and market trends and participate in forecasting, pricing, and budgeting processes
9. Acts as a liaison between MPI and customers to facilitate and enhance working relationships to ensure customer needs are met
10. Responsible for achievement of planned revenue, account development and implementation for all products
11. Timely follow up with potential leads
12. Cold calling to develop leads and documenting those leads
13. Attend trade/technical shows as needed
14. Be able to travel including overnight stays
15. Attend weekly mandatory meetings
16. All other duties assigned
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Finance or relevant degree
Experience:
1 year of sales experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
· Computer skills
· Strong presentation skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Problem solving and organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, and multitasking
Ability to:
· Be self-motivated
· Work independently with little direction
· Work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
· Must be able to establish good working relationship with many individuals
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous sales experience in machining, welded steel, or any other manufacturing sales or outside industrial sales experience preferred
· Bilingual in Spanish and English
Physical Requirements:
· Exposure to characteristic machining site danger
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift or move 20 pounds

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
