Job Summary:

The role of a Sales Support Engineer is to provide technical and commercial sales support for Cat Switchgear products. This includes assisting Outside Sales personnel and dealers with product application, and quotation support. Work on a team with other Sales Support Engineers who perform the same role for their assigned regions. The incumbent manages the completion of work assignments and coordinates closely with Outside Sales to support the dealers.

What you’ll do:

• Recognize which products should be offered based on the customer’s RFQ.
• Review Customer Drawings and Specifications and provide CDEs as required with bids.
• Use design configurators to build conceptual switchgear layouts to feed the costing tool.
• Use costing tools to provide costing for custom applications.
• Develop Sales Proposals
• As quotes become orders, create the Order Entry Documentation necessary to facilitate the transfer of the project to the project execution teams.
  

Basic Requirements:

• Must be complete a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following degree programs: Engineering, Management, Marketing, or related program by state date
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0 (no rounding)
• Graduation date of December 2022 – May 2023
