The Inside Sales / Business Development Representative is responsible for business development of targeted accounts in assigned vertical markets. This person will proactively contact potential new customers in support of account plans and growth initiatives.

Compensation for the Inside Sales Representative

• $19.50 - $21.50 Per Hour DOE
• Full benefits available including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, FSA, EAP, 401K and many more!

Responsibilities for the Inside Sales Representative

• Proactive outbound calling to assigned accounts based on an agreed upon account strategy
• Develop new accounts that provide revenue on a recurring basis
• Become knowledgeable on products and solutions and able to educate and guide customers to the best solution for their application
• Provide support for customers on product demos, product selection, literature, and training
• Assist in capturing and maintaining CRM contact database and account profiles
• Build effective and long-term relationships with customers
• Research businesses for potential leads using web searches, company directories, etc.
• New Business Development Activities as assigned

Requirements for the Inside Sales Representative

• Associates degree in business, marketing, or technically related field
• 1 - 3 years’ experience in outside and/or inside sales preferably in a manufacturing company
• Effective communication both written and verbal
• Strong Microsoft Office skills with an ability to adapt and learn new technologies
• Proficient in ERP and CRM systems
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
