Departments reporting to position: Sales
VP of Sales is responsible for leading their sales team to meet and exceed sales goals. The key duties of a VP of Sales include hiring and developing members of their team, creating and executing sales strategies, and developing and managing the sales department budget.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management or related fields
Experience: Four years experience working in a selling role and with sales technology and CRM software
Minimum of two years experience in a senior leadership role preferred
Skills:
- Demonstrate a strategic thinking process
- Demonstrate executive leadership skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- PC literate, including proficiency with spreadsheets and company’s CRM/software
Job Responsibilities

Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities. Incumbent will be required to satisfactorily perform all essential functions of the job.
- Achieve 100 % of assigned Revenue and Equipment Gross Profit Plans
- Achieve 10% Profit Contribution from the Sales function
- Maintain 100 % of staffing plan through a comprehensive recruiting plan
- Achieve 80% Sales Representative retention.
- Achieve 50% of all Sales Representatives at quota.
- Designs and implements an ongoing sales training program.
- Communicates Activity Benchmarks for prospecting, demonstration, surveys, proposals and current customer visits and insures they are met.
- Implements and oversees a weekly/monthly Sales Activity tracking system
- Sets equipment pricing guidelines.
- Overall strategy and revenue growth of sales in all sectors as well as multi-million dollar budget
- Participate as a member of the Executive team, collaborating as a team member drive overall growth for the organization
- Developing and motivating sales team to achieve goals
- Monitor market and competitor activity
- Improving customer satisfaction by anticipating consumer needs
- Identify when improvements can be made and develop success-driven plans
- Develop plans and strategies
- Provides accurate monthly and annual forecast of sales revenue production
- Detecting strategic opportunities
