The Business Planning Sales Specialist position offers a unique opportunity to work within a well-designed lead generation and sales and marketing system to create impactful relationships with business owners and their key employees. Leveraging our client's current successes empowers the sales team to seek opportunities to meet business owners where they are, provide the environment for clear-headed thinking and planning and ultimately guiding the implementation of the owner’s well-defined plan for growth, succession and ultimately, transition of the business.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop general knowledge of Business Planning program with focus on growth coaching, succession planning, transition/exit planning and corporate tax, legal and risk management matters.
- Has general knowledge in business strategy, tax, legal, risk management, financial and estate planning topics for business owners.
- Complete training in lead generation system which utilizes ZoomInfo searches for list creation, qualification, and contact.
- Demonstrate expertise in guiding a prospect through the sales process introducing prospect to senior business planning advisory team.
- Participate in sales coaching, process analysis and improvement through regular debriefing meetings.
- Monitor and follow-through with prospects in the sales pipeline, nurturing them to deeper engagement with the senior advisory team.
Position Requirements
Successful candidates will have proven results in a business-to-business sales environment calling upon business owners, principals, or C-suite executives within private companies. Candidate can demonstrate effective networking and business development skills with strong communication and presentation skills:
- Hold of a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years professional experience in sales and business development in commercial banking, financial services, life insurance, accounting, wealth management, consulting, or similar industries.
- Advanced degrees and certifications are a plus but not required.
- Series 7, 66, Life and Health Insurance licenses may be necessary but not required.
- Exemplary in communication, presentation, time-management, and organizational skills
- Proficient at listening to prospect needs and then be capable of skillful management of prospect through the sales process.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without durational restrictions
- Successful completion of background check and pre-employment assessments
Compensation
- 60-80k depending on experience 100-125k earning potential
