We are seeking sales engineers with the talent needed to sell B2B software solutions to mid-enterprise level organizations. HighGear sales engineers are responsible for learning prospect requirements, building custom demos, and nurturing prospects over time to help propel the sale forward. They participate in a highly consultative, solution driven sales cycle. They serve as “evangelists” for presenting cutting-edge product solutions, demanding hands-on skills to demonstrate and align solutions with customer needs. Extensive training is provided to prepare sales engineers with tools and references to demonstrate product features and use cases.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary between $57k and $93k depending on qualifications

Required Experience
- Either 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, sales support, or sales engineering; Or a four-year college degree in business or technology
- Nice to have: Experience with workflow or business process management
- Nice to have: Experience with business intelligence/reporting
Activities/Deliverables
- Use targeted and insightful questions to speak knowledgeably with decision makers, provide content and product/service information, and work with prospects to explain how HighGear can address their challenges
- Develop strong product knowledge to professionally and effectively present/demo HighGear products to prospective customers.
- Build process templates and other sales support materials.
- Demonstrate appropriate sense of urgency and timeliness in meeting deadlines.
Essential Qualities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to ask for help when needed
- Fast learner, not afraid of getting under the hood with sophisticated technology
- Must be willing to work in the Frederick office full time.
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
