We would love for you to join our team as an Oklahoma market sales representative. In this position, you will work an assigned sales territory by maintaining relationships with current customers and identify new accounts to drive sales. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent communication skills, organizational skills, strong curiosity for the beverage industry (code for: Do you enjoy making money selling while talking, can you operate an iPad and Cell Phone, do you enjoy Adult Beverages and Non Alc options, you’re a fit!), be comfortable working independently, while building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Job Responsibilities
Communicate with and personally call on all current and prospective customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as needed, and oversee all sales activity in your assigned sales territory. (If you like your couch more than seeing customers while making tons of cash, this job isn’t for you)
Anticipate and evaluate customer needs and suggest products accordingly.
Develop sales and product knowledge to effectively educate customers. (Yes we do provide, but Google is a great teacher too!)
Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.(No sweat pants while in the market please)
Work with our in house marketing department to create/design/implement wine lists, cocktail programs, beverage menus and promotions by utilizing full knowledge of the suppliers’ portfolios. Ability to conduct waitstaff training sessions and assist with executing marketing and Holiday promotions.(We love St. Pat’s and Cinco!)
Participate in sales meetings and sales trainings.
Regularly meet and exceed sales goals and quotas.
Demonstrate leadership and entrepreneurial qualities.
Work flexible hours and work during peak season of October, November and December.(This is when we line wallets with MooLa, Winter=Consumption)
Qualifications
Must Have a High School Diploma / GED
Preferred working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred 2 years Sales Experience.
Preferred Service Industry related experience and possess knowledge of wine, spirits and beer.
Have practical knowledge of Apple devices.
Competitive, Focused and Driven.
Must have dependable Transportation.
Lift and Carry 40+ pound cases of product on a consistent basis.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain an Able Liquor License. (Examples that may disqualify you from obtaining a liquor license: criminal history, felonies, owe back taxes. For more information on obtaining a liquor license please go to Oklahoma Able Commission Website.)
This Position is a commission-based contract position . This sales route averages $56,000 annually plus bonuses and incentives.
