Job Summary
The Florida Center for Early Childhood (The Florida Center) is a nationally accredited nonprofit, community-based agency that provides quality programs and services focused on the healthy development of young children, their families, and our community. We are looking for a Director of Strategic Planning and Quality Improvement to manage, the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement, analytics, safety and process improvements.

Principle Duties:
¨ Assists with implementing and maintaining the agencies quality improvement plan in accordance with the mission and strategic goals of the agency, federal and state laws and regulations, program licensing requirements, COA (Council on Accreditation) accreditation standards and NAC (National Accreditation Council) accreditation standards.
¨ Oversee and coordinate COA and NAC accreditation renewal processes.
¨ Implement and maintain a comprehensive continuous quality improvement (CQI) program, including utilization management and risk management.
¨ Coordinates the effort to gather data and prepare reports to meet the requirements of COA and other regulatory agencies.
¨ Develop, assist with, and monitor systems, and procedures for the identification, collection, and analysis of the performance of quality measurement and program outcome data, including client demographics.
¨ Analyzes client, staff and stakeholder survey data and identifies plans for quality improvements as well as review client experience and incident reports, client complaints and grievances and report on trends.
¨ Facilitate the Continuous Quality Improvement Committee.
¨ Educates and trains staff as to the quality improvement plan, and their respective roles and responsibilities in carrying out the plan.
¨ Provide support to programs that have quality improvement plans.
¨ Work closely with program directors to ensure the agency’s service delivery functions and contractual requirements, are being met for quality service delivery.
¨ Reviews client records and other documentation to ensure quality care.
¨ Oversee the agency safety plan and requirements, working with programs/departments to ensure safety and efficiency.
¨ Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
¨ Helps to prepare annual quality improvement/risk management report.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
