Brown & Brown is seeking an Associate Account Manager to join our Property & Casualty team in Perrysburg, OH!

GENERAL:

• Starting salary range: $40,000-$46,000
• Entry-level position
• Hybrid work Schedule3 days in-office, 2 days remote

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Prepare client items for review by the Account Manager
• Triage and reply to incoming emails, which should be responded to within 24 hours of receipt
• Become proficient in navigating Agency Management System
• Ensure all applicable data is kept accurate and files maintained, per department procedures
• Ensure compliance with internal quality controls and procedures
• Call carriers and customers, under the direction of the Account Manager, to help resolve service issues, in coordination with the Member Advocate Subdepartment
• Ensure compliance with Insurance Operations (IO); notify Account Manager of anything they see that does not meet IO requirements, escalate to Team Leader if necessary
• Print, assemble, and policies, proposals, endorsements and other documents as directed by the Account Manager and/or Team Leader
• Promote teamwork, positive attitude, and commitment to department/agency goals.
• Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Other duties as assigned P&C Team leader
• Fill-in as needed among the department
• This position does not advise, negotiate, or place insurance

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Required:

• High Speed Internet-in home
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Exceptional oral and written communication
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Must obtain state Property & Casualty Insurance Licenses within 60 days of employment
• Prior employment or internship in an office setting

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-3 years of experience in employee benefits field
