Salary: $80,000 + bonus
Job Summary:
Responsible for improving assigned branch sales performance and working collaboratively with Branch and Executive management to achieve results. Assists in Sales Representative recruitment and onboarding efforts; Sales Representative orientation and in-the-field guidance; providing guidance to new Sales Representatives, and; providing informative and motivational sales meetings in conjunction with the Branch Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Branch and Executive management to achieve established goals for in-home selling
- Assist in Sales Representative recruitment efforts and effectively onboarding Sales Representatives in-line with Company established in home B2C processes and procedures
- Facilitate sales meetings to motivate and encourage sales team members to ensure quotas are met or improve personal performance
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) regarding Company sales processes, products, and sales-related modules within Company software
- Provide in-person, and/or in-the-field Company sales orientation and guidance to new or existing Sales Representatives
- Evaluate and report regarding sales team member talent and act in accordance with Company procedures regarding underperforming Sales Representatives
- Effectively collaborate with Branch or Executive leadership to develop sales strategies and find solutions to Branch sales deficiencies
- Act as Branch Manager when existing Branch management is out of the office
- Represent the Company at Home Shows in the Branch market or region as determined by Company
- Maintain a professional manner when representing the Company and adhere to Company policies and standards when representing the Company
- Other duties as assigned
Daily and Monthly Minimum Expectations (KPIs):
- Participate in no less than 15 ride-a-longs per week to evaluate and develop upon the in-home sales process, no less than 5 days a week based on collaboration with Branch GM to organize leads, ride-a-longs, etc., daily
- Maintain minimum Sales Representative team and team standards as determined by Executive management
- Maintain average Branch sales closing percentage or exceed market closing percentage goal.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Position will regularly guide Sales Representatives and, on occasion manage staff or guidance to Installers when filling in for Branch management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to persuade and sell
- Strong interpersonal relationship and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to negotiate effectively
- Able to convey professionalism and demonstrate leadership skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated and driven
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and sales CRMs / ERPs
- Proven ability to build and motivate high-performing sales representatives and/or sales teams
Required Experience and Education:
- 3+ years of B2C sales experience with a track record of over-achieving quotas
- 2+ years of experience delivering direct sales training utilizing various sales techniques and methodologies
- 1+ years of sales leadership responsibility with verifiable team sales revenue improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship, considered with less than the required experience
Travel Required:
Up to 70-85% of the time (Local Travel)
