Full description of the position

Bachelor's degree required (engineering, science, business or marketing). -

3-5 years experience in project/program management, new business development, sales processes, CRM tools, or new product and process development also desired. - Experience within technical product development and manufacturing environment required.

- Working knowledge of marketing concepts, contract development, project management tools and techniques, and experience with cost / budget management also desired

Responsible for championing new business opportunities. -

Customer interfacing to establish and negotiate technical product requirements.

- Track and prioritize all new business development activities through appropriate tools, such as CRM and/or spreadsheets. Participate in weekly department meetings sharing the status of these activities and escalating issues.

- Securing internal resource commitments for proposal preparation and response to customers’ requirements

. - Preparing customer communications, including presentations and proposals (pricing, statement of work, special terms, product specifications, etc.).

- Planning and tracking the progress of new business through the development phases and into initial production in conjunction with program manager, if assigned. - Escalating issues and presenting them to management with proposed solutions.

- Responsible for solving day-to-day customer issues by interfacing with functional areas of company at multiple levels.

- Serve as the first line of contact and point person with the customer.

Support the implementation and maintenance of the company’s business processes and CRM tools

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
