Na Koa Brand is looking to raise the bar in sales quality and compensation for those skills. We are currently hiring for our Shops at Wailea Store, with holiday season quickly approaching, it is imperative that we find someone eager to help and willing to learn.

We are looking for someone driven and willing to put themselves out there, to support the customers, and also their coworkers.

Communicating effectively with both visitors and locals is a must-have to excel at this job. Visitors make up 80% of our sales at this store, so being able to share the culture with them in a meaningful way is important.

This is a team effort here, so be willing to work closely with others and fill-in when needed. Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable work environment that you want to come to every shift.

Pay starts at $16 and can vary based on sales experience.

One of the most important things about working at Na Koa is you can expect to get paid more when you take on more. We will never ask you to take on more responsibility without compensation.

All sales positions receive commission based on daily shift sales, as well as holiday, birthday, and annual bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Bring Aloha spirit to the workplace
• Greet and aid customers with questions they may have
• Actively seek out customers in the store
• Be knowledgeable of all store products and offerings
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Cross sell products
• Handle returns of merchandise
• Treat all customers with respect and aloha
• Comply with all inventory control procedures
• Keep all cash handling clean and concise
• Enjoy coming to work and making sales!

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role
• Be self-driven to maintain store cleanliness and order, there will be downtime and we will expect tasks to be completed during that time.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Basic Math skills
• Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts
• High school degree

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
