Heritage 7, a nurse owned and managed staffing company, is looking for a Business Development Representative. The right individual will be responsible for the development of new business, prospecting, setting sales appointments, and identifying customer needs. This individual must have an understanding of medical staffing, be self-motivated with the ability to create new opportunities and respond to existing opportunities throughout the medical field.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

• Call on local businesses, healthcare facilities, physicians, clinics and eldercare facilities in order to generate sales.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships and provide the highest quality customer service.
• Participate in health fairs, awareness days, etc.
• Join and attend area networking and chamber groups.
• Seek, develop and participate in marketing opportunities in the community.
• Establish working rapport with health care professionals in the territory.
• Develops new account prospects through networking, referrals and cold calling.
• Close the sale by focusing on customer concerns and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.
• Set a comfortable tone and encourages open communication.
• Present key selling points, features and benefits while focusing message on customer needs and expectations.
• Present a professional, positive image that reflects well on the organization.
• Self-motivated with the ability to create new opportunities and respond to existing opportunities throughout the medical field.
