REPORTS TO: Logistics Manager

POSITION PURPOSE: The Customer Response Team (CRT) Associates are to be the primary point of contact with customers for placing orders and registering product related complaints. The CRT works closely with the Sales team to coordinate communication around Purchase Orders, Lead Times, Delivery, Invoicing and Complaints. In addition, the CRT interfaces internally with Planning, Purchasing and Production to track orders and special manufacturing requests, as well as with Marketing to provide support as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS-RESPONSIBILTY & AUTHORITY - Customer Response:

1. Taking and Confirming Orders by email
2. Entering customer purchase orders into our MRP software
3. Tracking inquiries as they are distributed to the appropriate subject matter expert (SME)
4. Generating open sales order reports regularly for customers
5. Tracking Open Orders and Communicating Shipment/Delay information to Customers and Sales Reps
6. Collecting and Transferring information from Sales, Planning, Purchasing and Production to help ensure On Time Delivery & Delighted Customers
7. Maintaining & Curating the CRM for Maine Manufacturing
8. Maintaining a professional environment and experience for GVS Customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS;

1. Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
2. 3-5 Years of Customer Service Experience, preferably in the bioscience industry
3. Demonstrated knowledge of markets and applications of MMfg products
4. Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional and multi-disciplinary environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS;

1. Employee will be required to sit / stand for extended periods of time, operate a computer keyboard and calculator, etc.

2. Position will be exposed to an office environment; however, occasional interaction in a production and/or laboratory environment many be required.
