Job Description:

The Parts Counter Sales position in our Toledo, OH facility is responsible for providing our retail and installer customers with a high level of service. They also support management in the accomplishment of all assigned tasks, including maintaining inventory control, store appearance, and customer relations.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Use of catalogs and parts manuals to identify and sell heavy duty trailer and truck parts
• Greet and advise customers in selection of products and their uses both in person and over the phone
• Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers
• Operate the point-of-sale system Karmak to process orders and invoices
• Pull and pack orders for customer pick up or delivery
• Assist with inventory and processing of incoming stock
• Assist service and leasing department with identification of parts
• Continually grow product and application knowledge of product essential to the heavy-duty vehicle aftermarket

Qualifications:

• Heavy duty parts knowledge – Preferred
• Sales experience – Preferred
• Heavy duty Service or automotive parts experience is a plus
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
• Ability to obtain a Chauffeur’s License and DOT Medical Card if needed (company paid)
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) if needed (company paid)
• Ability to multitask
• Basic computer & math skills

Must be Able to Lift the Following:

• 50lbs infrequently/occasionally
• 25-49lbs occasionally
• 1-24lbs frequently
